Welcome to the blog! I am colorblind. It's strange. I took a colorblind test just a few minutes ago. If you took one, maybe you'd be able to see every number. What's it like for me? Some numbers are invisible. Colorblind tests usually look the same. There's a circle. Inside that circle is a number. Either you see it, you don't, or you can't tell what the number is. You might be able to breeze through a colorblind test, but I'm not the same as you.
Colorblindness is strange. One day, I might see how you see, with the help of colorblindness glasses. They'll help me see the world you see, without reds and yellows, and oranges, and greens, and grays turning themselves on their heads and switching places.
I can't wait for the moment I put those glasses on. My world could turn around. Heck, one person said that they couldn't even see purple before they put their colorblind glasses on!
Did you know that a colorblind man is 1 in 12 people, and colorblind women are 1 in 200? My mom and I are 2 in 400, then! Well, us colorblind people gotta stick together! Until next time,
Lila T.
