This is a Christmas story I wrote. It is all in my own words. It is about a family that saved up just enough money to go on vacation for Christmas. It's short, but I think you'll like it!

The Myers' Christmas
The Myers had almost no wealth. They lived poorly, in a run-down, beat-up apartment in the big city, not suitable for two adults, two children, and a baby. So, on December 20, they decided to go to California for Christmas. It would mean almost no money for gifts, but they determined it was worth it.
On Christmas Eve, the Myers took two trains and a plane, through mountains and forests, to get to a hotel and café in San Francisco. They enjoyed games, music, dancing, and archery. The Myers even went down to the shore and surfed!
They were having so much fun that they never wanted to leave. Even the baby hadn't cried the entire time! The Myers were in love with California.
Soon, the day was turning into night, and everybody was getting into bed. Well, almost everybody. Mrs. Myer was up late, working on her computer. She felt she had to earn more cash, even on holiday. Even on Christmas Eve.
A little bit after midnight, Mrs. Myer was up for a sip of water, when magically, Santa Clause was in their hotel living room. There were many gifts on the ground, and Santa handed Mrs. Myer one with her name on it. Inside was her diamond ring, the one she sold to help the family. As she looked closer, she found enough cash that the family could live comfortably for years. "Thank you, Santa Clause," Mrs. Myer said. Santa said nothing, and with a wink and a laugh, he left.
And that is why I believe in Santa Clause. Because I believe in miracles.
